"The Ed Hugus story," I have found  t o be an exciting well written fantastically interesting account of Hugus' life story. I met him briefly at Elsco in Jacksonville, Fla. in the late 60's.  Thru that meeting though, I had the opportunity to meet Franz Blam, Steve Beiser and the remarkable John Miller; all  knowledgeable characters in their own fields of expertise!!  Well written ! Thank you RW.

As explained to Glyn, I wanted the book for reference, as I'm writing one of my own re a car that features prominently  in the Walker tome. The book was fine, if a touch expensive, but please note I was extremely impressed by the quality of your service from start to finish.

Many thanks
Gordon

5 of 5 a really great read April 27, 2017
Reviewer: Bill Fulk
What makes this book a really great read is that author Bob Walker got most of the facts by actually sitting down with Ed Hugus, and simply having a series of conversations over the years about his involvement with the early development of the Cobra. Therefore, this particular book about Cobras contains detailed information that has never before been made available to the general public, and that information comes from Ed Hugus, who was directly involved with the Cobra at its very beginning. An extra treat are the 300+ photos of vintage Le Mans, the 1950's and the 1960's! If you're into Cobras, or into Le Mans, this is the book for you!

5 of 5 Definitive study of Hugas & his Cobra involvement April 23, 2017

As usual, another very fine book highlighting the career of an important figure in American motorsports- Ed Hugas, one that gets scant attention these days.  I particularly liked the fact that the author included many personal items from the late driver's collection, including articles and tickets.  No one will ever attempt another book about Hugas, so glad Walker made this as definitive as it could possibly be.  I've never bought a book from Dalton Watson Fine Books that I did not enjoy; worth every penny.
