Inside the Paddock - Racing Car Transporters at Work, contains nearly 550 images, many unpublished hitherto, which are enhanced and embellished by well-researched and informative captions. This is a remarkable history of the transport of racing cars revealed in a picturesque manner.

Hard to find a lot to say when it's flawless. The transaction was secure and reasonable. The shipping was swift and well-noted. The packaging was sound and the book delivered intact. The book itself is a marvel and will grace my shelf for life. The entire process is highly recommended to any soul reading this tragically impaired review.

4 of 5 Glad it's back in print...but January 20, 2021
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from MN, United States
I'm glad to see this back in print, as it's one of the only books on the subject of race vehicles.  Yet reading it, they really should've made the title "European Racing Car Transporters at Work" and left out the few American trucks  that did make it in, due to less of an effort for correctly researching and an obvious bias against them.  The companion work "Around the Circuit" is essentially a volume 2 of this, with some overlap from the original (and the same biases).  Some may be disappointed for what their money gets them, unless this specific topic is their specialty.

Dalton Watson provided their usual great customer service to get this out in a timely fashion in good shape.  While I've bought some wonderful books from them before, this one left me thinking, after I finished reading it "was this really worth getting"?
