Dalton Watson has once more delivered: an in-depth, beautifully illustrated set of volumes,
meticulously researched to provide crisp views of magical era of coach built works of rolling art, and the visionaries who have forever challenged concept and norm of the automobile.  Lest we forget.  Thanks to Dalton Watson, we are indeed privileged to turn pages and turn back time to experience for the moment, that magical time.

5 of 5 Incredible Story November 7, 2018
Reviewer: Mark Dixon
Just nine cars bodied by Grummer are known to exist, but this 736-page, two-volume masterwork reveals the incredible story of the man who cheated death numerous times during the Great War to become a Parisian haut couturier of 1920s grandes marques. Four of his nine surviving creations are on Bugatti chassis, which gives a hint as to why Grümmer’s name was long overdue for a tribute on this scale. -- Mark Dixon, Octane Magazine

An absolutely stellar pair of books that will help to rescue a great coach builder from undeserved obscurity.
The books themselves are a tribute to their publisher and the contents and the wonderful and plentiful photographs are a tribute to their authors.  Anyone interested in the French products of the "Golden Age" of automobile design will be fascinated by these books and they are worth every penny of their cost.

thanks to excellent research we can enjoy a good Book about a forgotten aspect of French coachbuilding during the first 35 years of the 20th century, a glance into great  craftmanship and entrpreneurial skills.
Also a document on my french family.
