This is a fascinating look at the evolution of automobile design. For example, the tension between technical advances in aerodynamics and weight savings and traditional customer tastes is uniquely covered here.
The text sometimes misses the nuance in English, but it is minor when it adjoins excellent photos and the wide ranging coverage of vehicles Touring developed.

As always with Dalton Watson books, this title is superb in every way and is a wonderful addition to any serious automotive library, especially one devoted to automotive design.   These two volumes are superbly printed, the authors are ideal, and the hundreds of photos are a feast for the mind and the eyes.

5 of 5 Excellent pictures June 10, 2019
Reviewer: Jacques Helot from Ingolstadt, Bavaria Germany
The story is told in a captivating way through many beautiful period black and white pictures. They are not only of the finished cars but also of the models, the drawings and of the cars being assembled. This gives a feel of how the cars came to be. Touring made the most beautiful cars for a few decades. It is also interesting to see that the Touring proposal for what became the Miura was not that far off the final end result...

As always, Dalton Watson come s up with great books.  I own couple of Touring bodies cars and this the definitive book on the subject.  The quality of the publication is above reproach and obviously the content is superb.
